Who we are
This website (headacherecovery.org) is operated by Applied Health Systems LLC, 30 N Gould St., Ste. R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA ("we", "us"). We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: support@headacherecovery.org.
This policy covers this website only. The My Headache Experience Journal app and the Recovery Program have their own privacy information.
What we collect
- Beta signup: your name, email, the product you chose and, for the Program, your confirmation that you have a diagnosis. We do not ask for health details on this website.
- Video series and newsletter: your email (and name if given) and whether emails are delivered or opened.
- Partner inquiries: the contact and organisation details you send us.
- Usage data: pages visited, how you arrived (e.g. a campaign link) and device type. Marketing tracking (Meta Pixel) only runs if you consent.
Why we use it
- To run the beta and send your access link (to take steps at your request).
- To send the emails you signed up for (your consent; unsubscribe any time).
- To understand and improve the website (our legitimate interest, or your consent for marketing cookies).
- To protect the site against spam (hCaptcha).
We do not sell your personal data.
Who helps us
We use trusted service providers to host the website and database, send email (Resend, Brevo), prevent spam (hCaptcha), measure visits (Google Analytics) and, with consent, marketing (Meta). They process data on our behalf. Some are based in the United States, so your data may be transferred outside your country.
How long we keep it
We keep signup and email data while the beta or email series is running and for as long as needed afterwards to support you, or until you ask us to delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK), you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent at any time. Email support@headacherecovery.org. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
You can change your marketing cookie choice at any time with the "Privacy and marketing preferences" link at the bottom of every page.
Not medical advice
HeadacheRecovery is a tracking and education tool, not a diagnostic service. Always speak to a healthcare professional about your symptoms.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
